U.S. Patent Office Allows Claims Covering
Pure Energy Corporation's Alternative Motor Fuel
For Immediate Release
May 15, 1997. Pure Energy Corporation is pleased to announce that
the U.S. Patent Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for claims
covering Pure Energy's alternative motor fuel. The patent is expected
to formally issue within the next several months. Princeton University
owns patent rights to the fuel and last year granted an exclusive
license to Pure Energy to commercialize the fuel on a world-wide basis.
In anticipation of international opportunities, Pure Energy recently
has approved the filing of corresponding patent applications in a
number of foreign countries.
Merrick G. Andlinger, President and CEO of Pure Energy, stated,
"We are very excited about the Notice of Allowance and look forward
to the patent issuing. The Company is actively developing other
innovative technologies for alternative fuels and their production.
We hope this will be the first of a number of innovations Pure Energy
will own or license."
Pure Energy's alternative fuel is non-petroleum and engineered for
internal combustion engines to be cleaner burning. The fuel is produced,
in large part, from renewable materials such as agricultural waste and
municipal solid waste. This liquid fuel is deliverable through existing
infrastructure technology and operates in currently produced flexible
fuel vehicles.
Incorporated in 1994, Pure Energy has offices in New York City and Orange
County, California. The Company is independent and privately owned.
